Home Pedicure⎜Spa Series

Summers here and its time to crack open those open toe shoes and sandals! Although it does mean that you need to take care of those feet that have been forgotten about during the winter months. Every once in a while its nice to treat your feet to some  TLC.

First things first, cut and shape your toenails to the size and you want them, its best to to this now before you soak them. Next get yourself a bowl big enough for your feet and fill it with some warm water. If you like you can add something to this. I added some FUN from Lush, blue one contains lavender oil and chamomile oil- amazing for relaxing. I soaked my feet for about 15 minutes, this can be more or less depending on what you’re doing. I love using a micro pedi, I know they’re more expensive but if you love soft feet- they’re seriously worth it. Go to town and get rid of the majority of the dead skin, don’t worry about getting every last bit off because your feet need some hard skin! Now grab a foot moisturiser, I recommend the Superdrug Intensive Foot Cream  , its really thick but sinks into the skin nicely and you’re left with soft feet for hours.  Lastly paint your toes! I used a Gel colour from Red carpet, I love using gel colours on my toes because they last a good 4-6 weeks with no top ups. Screen Shot 2014-08-17 at 14.43.46

And there we go! Beautiful feet! Do this every other week until your feet are baby soft, then get yourself your nicest sandals and show them off!

Hope you enjoyed this!

Lots of Love

  2. hi!
A little question: for the Gel nail polish do you need the special lamp to fix the colour?
Furthermore. Now everyone is talking about foot exfoliating socks for home pedicure. Have you tried them? I am curios but afraid they could be too aggressive. Have a nice day

    1. Hello! Yes you do, you can get starter sets from around £50 or maybe cheaper if you look around but be careful you don’t get a dodgy one. I got the starter set from red carpet:) I haven’t actually tried them but if you do let me know x
